AskedLocal ("we", "us") is a service that shows local businesses how AI assistants describe them. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• What you enter in the free-check form: your practice name, city, website (if you give it), and email address.
• The report we generate for your practice: the questions we asked, the answers the AI tools gave, and the score and recommendations we derived from them. The answers are the AI tools' own output about publicly listed businesses; we do not collect anything about patients.
• Basic technical information when you use the site, such as your IP address (which we store only as a scrambled value, to limit misuse of the free check) and the time of your request.

How we use it

• To run your check and show you the report.
• To email you the link to your report, and, if you asked for it, weekly updates on what changed. Every email we send has a way to stop them.
• To keep the service working and prevent abuse.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run AskedLocal (for example, the AI providers whose tools we query and the companies that host our servers and send our email), and only for that purpose.
• We do not use your information for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your practice details and reports so we can show you how things change over time. Email hello@askedlocal.com and we will delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email hello@askedlocal.com.
