By using AskedLocal you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

What AskedLocal is

AskedLocal asks AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Google's AI answer and Google Gemini) the kinds of questions people ask when looking for a local business, and reports what those tools said about your business and others in your area, along with suggestions.

What it isn't

AI tools change their answers over time and with how a question is worded. A report is a snapshot of what the tools said when we asked. We do not control those tools, we do not guarantee that any tool will mention or recommend your business, and no one can. Our suggestions are general guidance; you decide what to do with them.

Your responsibilities

You may only request checks for a business you own, manage, or are authorized to act for. Don't use the service to harass anyone, to overload our systems, or for anything unlawful.

The free check

The free check is offered as is, may be limited in how often it can be run, and may change or end at any time.

Our content

The report format, wording, scoring method, and this website are ours. The AI answers quoted in a report belong to their respective providers. You may share your own report freely.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AskedLocal is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the service or reliance on a report. If you're unhappy with the service, your remedy is to stop using it.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do.
